“Can’t see the forest before the trees.”

Why do some people not see the forest before the trees?

There are times in a person's life when they cannot see what is in front of them. They might be too focused on the minor details to see the major ones. Such a way of perceiving the world prevents such persons from seeing the bigger picture.

How do you begin to see what is in front of you?

We have to believe there is more to life. We must begin to follow our intuition, an instinct instilled in us by our ancestors and based on our past experiences. If our intuition demands more, we must do more. Our intuition should not compete with the ego, which is irrational.

But what if you cannot see the forest before the trees?

Like Little Red Riding Hood, who walked into the forest mindlessly (although with some warning from her grandmother) and found herself in an unexpected situation (it is fiction, of course), overcame it, and learned from it, you will experience trials and tribulations, but ultimately, you will become stronger and wiser.

Endings lead to beginnings.

Making decisions to end things to pursue something new is refreshing and brave. When the heart and the mind work together to guide persons to pursue something new and meaningful, one must be willing to seek more.
